The farm, La Reforma, is owned by the Alvarez Family and primarily cultivates the SL28 variety. Situated in the Apaneca Ilamatepec Mountain Range, specifically in Calzontes Arriba. The farm's harvest season runs from December to February, with an average altitude ranging from 1,300 to 1,450 metres.
This particular lot originates from the Kenyan SL-28 variety, cultivated on the slopes of the famous Ilamatepec Volcano in Santa Ana. Seeking to enhance quality and diversify profiles, the Alvarez family planted this exceptional variety using seeds brought from Africa.
